andy warhol (born andy warhol) is a photographer, author, and a conceptual artist who began his career as a commercial artist in the late 1960s. In the 1970s, he is best known for his critical photographic studies of advertising, cinema, and pop culture. In the 1990s, he has become known for his constructivist paint-on-glass installations.
