Who will win Euro 2016? The Sky Sports pundits predict who will triumph in France. Armani Watts Jersey . France are unsurprisingly attracting the majority of the backing as the bookies favourites, but there is one pundit willing to back England, while Matt Le Tissier has a 40/1 fancy. Euro 2016 offer Bet £10 on the Euro 2016 outright and get a £3 free bet every time your team wins. As Sky Bet launch their Euro 2016 offer, we asked the pundits whether they will make their outright predictions using their head or their heart... Jamie RedknappId obviously love to see England do well and I think they will go close, but my head says France.I think in terms of strikers, were up there with the best, but looking at the squads, it is France that have the highest quality overall.Theyre obviously the home nation and showed how important that is by winning the World Cup in 1998 and Euro 84, when they hosted both times.Redknapp predicts: France (3/1 with Sky Bet)Matt Le TissierIts a tough one but Im going with my head and for a bit of value with a good each-way price in Austria. They did very well in qualifying, winning nine and drawing just one of their 10 games and let in very few goals. Austria cruised through qualifying for Euro 2016 Yes, Id love England to win it, but my head is saying theyre just not good enough.Le Tissier predicts: Austria (40/1 with Sky Bet)Jamie CarragherId always go with my head and unfortunately, that doesnt mean England.I think that theyll have a good tournament, which would mean quarter-finals or semi-finals at best for me.Im going to go for France. I think home advantage is a big thing and theyve got a lot of really good young attacking players in Anthony Martial and Antoine Griezmann.Carragher predicts: France (3/1 with Sky Bet)Alan McInallyWith Scotland not being there, I think that rules out betting with my heart! I think if youre betting with your head, its got to be Germany or France. Germany never tend to start very well, but tournament football is what theyre good at. They just seem to grow and bond as a unit and deliver when it counts. Germany are the reigning World Cup champions Im trying to make a case for Belgium. Theyve got some fantastic players, but will they play like a unit? Im not really sure, so I dont think you can look past Germany or France.McInally predicts: Germany (7/2 with Sky Bet)Niall QuinnYou should never bet with your heart! But if I was, it would be for Ireland to make it out of their group, although its hard to predict how the really tough games will go.If Im betting with my head, you normally get a great run from the home nations, with the exception of Poland and Ukraine last time out, but certainly the bigger countries that have had the tournament in their own backyard tend to do well, so Id be looking at France.Quinn predicts: France (3/1 with Sky Bet)Alan SmithI think Ill follow my heart. Its been a long time for England obviously and weve gone into a lot of tournaments with hope and come home disappointed, but maybe this time it could be worth a few quid. Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy scored 49 Premier League goals between them They dont go into it as favourites, but theyre in a clutch of teams that have got a chance. I think the way the groups are, with the enlarged format of the competition, its harder not to get out and then hopefully they can get some momentum and go on a roll.Smith predicts: England (8/1 with Sky Bet)Paul MersonIm going with France. I do like home advantage. I think its massive at major tournaments.Over the years, its been proven with host nations nearly always getting to the semis if not the final and, with a nice group, I think if France hold their nerve, theyll win it.Merse predicts: France (3/1 with Sky Bet) Get Euro 2016 Alerts Breaking news from Euro 2016, direct to your mobile Also See: Euro 2016 Fixtures Latest video Tables Chiefs Jerseys .In a statement released Friday, the Catalan club said the Brazil stars recovery would be monitored to determine when he can begin training again. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Mark Calcavecchias 8-foot closing putt for birdie put him in a better mood and sole possession of the second-round lead in the Regions Tradition at Shoal Creek. Calcavecchia insisted that only the first benefit was meaningful. He shot his second straight 3-under 69 on Friday to reach 6 under and take a one-stroke lead over Jay Haas at the Champions Tour major. Haas had a 70 after they came in as part of a four-way tie in the major championship. Haas missed a 4-footer on No. 18 to give Calcavecchia a shot at the solo lead at the midway point. Calcavecchia said finishing with a birdie improves his mood, lead or no lead. "It really doesnt matter, other than the fact that Im happier that I made the putt on the last hole, made the 8-footer for birdie as opposed to missing it," said Calcavecchia, who is seeking his first Champions Tour win since the 2012 Montreal Championship. "Sixty-nine sounds better than 70, it always has. "It always feels good to birdie the last hole. Leading as opposed to being tied for the lead, that makes no difference whatsoever to me." It was the highest score for a 36-hole leader at the Tradition since J.C. Snead was 6 under at Desert Mountain in 1996. The 36-hole leader has only won one of the last nine majors on the 50-and-over tour, with the exception being Mark Wiebe last year in the Senior British Open. Calcavecchias main concern is a rib problem he aggravated late in Thursdays round, leading to upper back spasms. He said it began flaring up again after swings starting on No. 14 Friday. "Its like a delayed reaction, then it kind of goes away," he said. Kenny Perry and Olin Browne were 4 under. Perry had a 68, and Browne shot 71. Browne was part of the first-round logjam along with Chien Soon Lu, who shot a 77. Haas birdied the first four holes, and Calcavecchia had three birdies on the first six holes. "I didnt put myself into a lot of bad positions," Haas saiid. Derrick Nnadi Jersey. "Being 4 under after four was kind of a dream start and it kind of slowly got away from me. But I like my position. I feel pretty good about my situation going into the weekend." He bogeyed No. 5 after landing in the bunker and then three-putted No. 15 for another bogey. Haas followed that with a 35-footer for birdie on No. 16. Calcavecchia also had a bogey on the 15th hole after having a bad lie about 10 yards right of the green. He chipped it some 15 feet past the hole. Calcavecchia said he started his round knowing Haas had gotten off to a good start and that Tom Pernice Jr. -- who finished with a 70 and was four strokes back -- had also opened with four straight birdies. Beyond that, he said hes not a scoreboard watcher. "Theres no point in really looking at this stage," Calcavecchia said. "Youre just trying to play the course and make as many birdies as possible and pars. Still a long way to go. If it was a three-rounder like most of our regular tournaments, it would be a little different story maybe. But were only halfway done." Haas takes a different approach. "I look at scoreboards all the time," he said. "I like seeing my name up there and seeing whats going on and all that. Its such a long race and theres so much golf left to be played that Im not too concerned about one shot here and there. You hate to throw any shots away obviously, but Im still feeling pretty good about where I am." Perry had three birdies on the final nine holes and was already looking forward to Round 3. "Saturdays the rocking chair day as I call it, and Ive got to make my move on that day," said Perry, who also had two bogeys. "I need to shoot another one of these or a little better to get back into it for Sunday." Defending champion David Frost was five strokes back and two-time winner Tom Lehman was six away from the lead. Both had 71s. Fred Couples was 7 over after a 77.
