This weeks opponent, the Bucs, have produced pressure on just 22.5 percent of opposing dropbacks -- 27th in the league. If the Bucs choose to lean on the blitz -- they have sent extra pressure on 27.6 percent of opposing dropbacks, above league average -- its helpful to consider Kaepernick entered Week 6 with an encouraging career 82.1 Total QBR against the blitz as a starter. The real selling point as a deep-league streamer is his rushing upside and how such production can buoy his fantasy floor, as Kaepernick rushed eight times for 66 yards this past Sunday in Orchard Park, with 53 of the yards coming on his four scrambles. The 49ers have run nearly three times as many zone-read plays as any other team this season, so we could see a nice blend of scrambles and designed runs against Tampa this week. - J.M.Running backMatt Asiata, Minnesota VikingsIf it werent for his teams bye in Week 6, Asiata would find himself on more teams than the 19 percent on which he is rostered.? Asiata ran the ball 14 times for 55 yards during the Vikings Week 5 win against the Houston Texans.? Asiata is the clear goal-line back for the Vikings and has performed similarly to teammate Jerick McKinnon in terms of yards per carry so far this season.? Those items combine to present real value as he faces the Philadelphia Eagles, who just allowed 230 rushing yards to the Washington Redskins. - K.DZach Zenner, Detroit LionsThe running back market has been dramatically thinned out by injuries and committees this season, so Im willing to take a chance on a back owned in just 1.5 percent of ESPN leagues at the moment. With Dwayne Washington and Theo Riddick banged up and Justin Forsett limited to just a handful of snaps and touches in Week 6, Zenner enjoyed a 77.4 percent snap rate and racked up 77 yards from scrimmage on 16 touches. Even if Riddick returns to the fold, there is real potential for Zenner to continue to dominate early-down touches, given how ineffective Riddick has proved in this phase over a growing sample. As for the matchup, Washington has allowed 5.2 yards per carry to tailbacks this season, most in the league. If Zenner can consolidate an early-down role for Detroit, he could again prove to be a sneaky streaming option this Sunday. - J.MWide receiverBrian Quick, Los Angeles RamsAmong wide receivers, only Cole Beasley, A.J Green and Quick have at least 50 receiving yards in each game for the last four weeks.? While the first two are rostered in almost every league, Quick is available in 94 percent of ESPN.com leagues.? This week Quicks Rams face the New York Giants, who have allowed 194 receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers.? Look for Quick to continue his roll, making him usable as a bye week fill-in .- K.DPierre Garcon, Washington RedskinsIts unclear how long starting tight end Jordan Reed will be out with another troubling concussion, but Garcon could see an increased workload if he remains sidelined. Garcon is second to Reed in target share on the Redskins this season with 19.5 percent of the teams attempts. A helpful 68.3 percent catch rate has led to Garcon recording a reception on 14.6 percent of his routes, also second on the team. These efficiency rates leapt in Week 6 without Reeds dominant presence in the passing game, as Garcon led the team with 32.3 percent of the targets and 33.3 percent of the teams yardage in the win over the Eagles. The Lions have allowed the third-highest catch rate and fourth-most fantasy points to receivers. With Garcon available in a vast majority of ESPN leagues, hes a fine plug-and-play option this week. - J.MTight endC.J. Fiedorowicz, Houston TexansFiedorowicz has at least four catches and 48 receiving yards in each of the last three weeks for the Texans.? Other tight ends who have accomplished the same: Greg Olsen and Martellus Bennett.? Despite also catching two touchdowns over those three games, Fiedorowicz is available in almost 99 percent of ESPN.com leagues.? On Sunday, hell draw the Denver Broncos, who have allowed 60 yards or more to opposing tight ends in four of their six games, including last Thursday, when Hunter Henry posted a 6/83/1 line. - K.DCameron Brate, Tampa Bay BuccaneersBrate has been Jameis Winstons second-leading target since Week 3 with an emboldening 17.4 percent of his attempts over this span. The Harvard product has been targeted on 21.4 percent of his routes and enjoyed a healthy average of 10.25 air yards per target, while most tight ends are found in the single-digits in this metric. The 49ers have allowed the seventh-most yards per catch and nearly 60 receiving yards per game to tight ends this season, as Brate is poised for a nice streaming setup on Sunday afternoon in San Francisco. - J.MD/STTampa Bay BuccaneersIf you are looking deep on the waiver wire to find a defense to stream each week, picking the team that is playing the 49ers isnt a bad plan.? This week, the 49ers will host the Buccaneers, who have forced six turnovers over their last three games.? The Buccaneers should also benefit from coming off their bye and therefore having a full two-week span to prepare for the dual threat that is Kaepernick.? Look for the Buccaneers to be among the ten best performers at the D/ST position this week. - K.DNew York GiantsWhile this one seems a bit obvious, since the Rams are a favorable fantasy matchup for opposing defenses -- D/ST groups have averaged nine fantasy points against them this season, most in the league -- its worth noting the Giants defense is owned in fewer than 15 percent of ESPN leagues as of Tuesday morning. This makes sense, as this defense ranks 26th in fantasy points per game. The Giants can create pressure on the pocket, as they rate 10th in the league with a quarterback hit, hurry or sack on 28 percent of dropbacks. Given the choice matchup against a Rams offense that still ranks 27th in points per drive, even after a shootout showing in Week 6, New York is a sound streaming option at an often fickle fantasy position. - J.MIndividual defensive playersLinebackerJatavis Brown, San Diego ChargersBrown didnt top a snap rate of 47 percent in the first three games, but injuries to the Chargers front seven have led to him playing at least 90.3 percent of the teams defensive snaps since Week 4. The rookie out of Akron was impressive on the collegiate level in tallying 10 forced fumbles, 10th most at the Division I-A level over this span. Brown is now thriving as a pro, with a sack in three of his past four games and a whopping 14-tackle opus against Denver this past Thursday, when he played every snap for San Diego. - J.MDefensive backKeanu Neal, Atlanta FalconsAn imposing athlete for the safety position with physical comparisons to Deone Bucannon, Neal has produced at least eight tackles in each of his past three games and has been on the field for all but one snap over this span. Investors in Miamis Reshad Jones, who could be facing a season-ending shoulder injury, might want to turn to Neal, who is flying under the radar as a rookie defensive back, for a supportive landing spot. - J.MDefensive lineDeForest Buckner, San Francisco 49ersMore than one possible streamer who plays for the 49ers? I had to include Buckner, given the heavy snap rates we often find for Chip Kellys defensive starters. The Oregon product has played at least 57 snaps in each of his past four games and rarely leaves the field for the 49ers, which helps support his strong tackle rate.
