FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, who underwent surgery on his left foot in the offseason, was removed from the physically unable to perform list Sunday as he joined teammates in a full-pads practice for the first time.Edelman didnt fully participate in the practice, which was mostly a scrimmage, but went through some drills early before spending time on the side working with quarterback Tom Brady.It feels good. That surgery, which was considered a cleanup procedure, was always considered a possibility when Edelman returned for the playoffs.But Edelmans availability for the start of the 2016 regular season was never seriously in question, with the club taking a cautious, patient approach with him at the start of training camp.Edelman, 30, is the projected top receiver for the Patriots and has emerged as one of Bradys go-to options, starting in 2013 when he totaled a career-high 105 receptions.
