TORONTO -- James Reimer said he will have good memories of his time with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Maple Leafs would like to play a game worth remembering Thursday night when they host the Florida Panthers.Reimer will not start for the Panthers but this will be his first appearance in Toronto as a visiting player. He was traded to the San Jose Sharks after appearing in 207 games with the Maple Leafs in parts of six seasons.Just some memories flooding back about coming back after games and what not, Reimer said of returning to Toronto. Just a whole wash of different emotions, I guess, just remembering the good times. It was good. Its fun. Its cool. Not cool for the Leafs have been some of their recent performances, including Tuesdays 7-3 home loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Toronto has lost four straight (0-2-2) and allowed 20 goals in those games. When you play right and you do good things in life, good things happen, Toronto coach Mike Babcock said. Theres no sense going home and feeling sorry for yourself, thats a waste of time. (The fans) paid good money to watch our team play and we didnt do a good enough job.An area where Toronto has not done a good enough job has been in the nets.Frederik Andersen, signed in the offseason to a five-year, $25 million contract, has struggled early. The 27-year-old is amongst the leagues worst in major statistical areas with a .851 save percentage and a 4.29 goals-against average in five startsEveryones had tough times, you just got to keep working at it, Andersen told reporters on Wednesday following practice. All that matters is what you do next and gotta work hard towards stopping the next puck and playing well the next game. One of the lone bright spots for Toronto (1-2-3) six games into the season has been the play of its young star. Auston Matthews, the 2016 first overall pick has six goals and 10 points. Its frustrating for sure, but its a long season, Matthews said. Youve got to take it day-by-day, stay positive in this room. Guys in this room have gone through this before. Theres no doubt in our minds were going to get out of it.He will look to increase those totals against Roberto Luongo, who is 3-1 with a .922 save percentage, and a 1.99 GAA.Florida (3-2-1) limps into Toronto with one win in its last four games. The Panthers followed up a 5-2 win against Colorado with Tuesdays 3-2 loss in Pittburgh during Sidney Crosbys season debut. They had odd-man rushes, and when you have good players and you give them opportunities, and theyre bound to score, Florida defenseman Keith Yandle said.Jonathan Marchessault, signed as a free agent in the offseason, leads the Panthers in scoring with three goals and eight points in six games. The Panthers have won four straight in Toronto and nine of their last 12 meetings with the Maple Leafs. This is a different Toronto Maple Leafs team, Panthers coach Gerard Gallant told the Miami Herald. Theyre a much different team and we know this is going to be a big challenge. Steve Young 49ers Jersey .C. -- Rodney Hood connected from all over the court while freshman Jabari Parker was busy swatting shots and scoring in transition. Kwon Alexander Jersey . Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey last Sunday. The fine is the fourth this season for Goldson. He was fined $30,000 for a hit on the New York Jets Jeff Cumberland in Week 1. http://www.thesf49ersshoponline.com/Youth-jalen-hurd-49ers-jersey/ . With their top three point guards and Kobe Bryant all sidelined by injury, the Lakers signed Marshall out of the D-League on Friday before their home game against Minnesota. Nick Bosa 49ers Jersey .H. -- Matt Kenseth made it 2 for 2 in the Chase, holding off teammate Kyle Busch to win Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. George Kittle Womens Jersey . Vancouver Whitecaps and Toronto FC failed to make the postseason while Montreal Impact fell at the first hurdle losing heavily to Houston Dynamo in the Eastern Conference Knockout Round. In A-League history, there cant have been too many better 3-0 losers than Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday night.Tony Popovics side were extremely hard done by to leave Etihad Stadium on the wrong end of the lopsided scoreline. The Wanderers bossed the match in the first half, and finished the match with more possession, shots and more time in the opposition half than the victors.Perhaps thats why Popovic spared his players the blowtorch after the match, instead focussing on the positives. To come to Melbourne and play the way we did in the first half, were delighted with that, Popovic said.I wouldnt say the second half was poor either. Our first 15 minutes were excellent.Even at 2-0 we had some fantastic opportunities to get it back to 2-1.Overall were disappointed. Were getting punished for mistakes which is clear. Our football is excellent. But we need to do better in our final third, the final pass and shot, to get rewarded for our good play. The man who drew Popovics ire was referee Jarred Gillett.Gillett decided against awarding a penalty to Western Sydney when Jason Geria crudely tackled Jumpei Kasakumi in the box.Replays showed the young full-back missed the ball and clattered the Japanese attackeer.ddddddddddddThe Wanderers boss made pointed reference to the clubs record with Gillett in the middle - just one win in the last 11 games - suggesting maybe its just a coincidence. But he couldnt contain himself when discussing the incident - which Victory coach Kevin Muscat agreed was worthy of a spot kick.If thats not a penalty, they should book him for diving, Popovic said.It was a clear penalty. There will not be a clearer one this year in the A-League.Theyre game-changers (but) we have to move on. Theyll explain themselves and move on as well. Well do what we can do better and hopefully they will too.Popovic will wait to see if Brendon Santalab, who was substituted with calf tightness at half-time, can play in next Friday nights match with Melbourne City.Either way, he expects his players to carry themselves as if they were the winners against Victory. There wont be a dent in confidence and belief because of the result, he said.We know that in six weeks we will be a lot better. In 12 weeks it will be a lot better. To be playing the way we are after six rounds is fantastic. ' ' '
