In April, the Falcons signed Afolabi to a two-year deal, but have decided to part ways with the 23-year-old safety. Afolabi was expected to compete for a backup spot at safety and also be used on special teams. With his release, J.J. Wilcox Youth Logan Paulsen Jersey , Chris Cooper and Sharrod Neasman will be the primary competitors for depth at safety. Before playing for the Los Angeles Rams, Afolabi played at the University of Colorado for three seasons.
