Fresno State alumnus Jeff Tedford has been hired as the Bulldogs football coach and will be introduced at a news conference Friday, the school announced Thursday.Tedford, who played quarterback at Fresno State in the early 1980s, spent this season on the coaching staff at Washington as a consultant.Coming to Fresno State is coming home for myself and my family, Tedford said in a news release.
