A look at whats happening all around the majors Saturday:---WINNERS AT WRIGLEYThe Cubs can set a team record with their 57th home victory when they host the Cardinals at Wrigley Field. Jason Hammel (15-9, 3.56) is trying to prove himself worthy of a postseason rotation spot for the NL Central champs, though he hasnt helped himself with a 6.87 ERA in three starts this month. Rookie Alex Reyes (3-1, 1.03) gets his fourth start for St. Louis riding a scoreless streak of 11 1/3 innings.RICKS ROLLRick Porcello (21-4, 3.08) can become baseballs second 22-game winner in the past five years when Boston plays at Tampa Bay. Jake Arrieta won 22 games while earning the NL Cy Young Award last season, making him baseballs biggest winner since Justin Verlander won 24 times with Detroit in 2011. Porcello likely only has two starts left, so Verlanders mark is out of reach, but that win total combined with his late-season dominance -- hes 7-2 with a 2.38 ERA since Aug. 1 -- could give him an edge in the AL Cy Young race.BUILDING UPClayton Kershaw (11-3, 1.73) tries to stretch out even more before the postseason when the Dodgers face the Rockies. Kershaw was limited to 66 and 64 pitches in his first two starts after returning from the disabled list, then jumped up to 88 pitches in a 2-1 win over the Giants in his last start. Despite missing more than two months, Kershaw (6.1) entered Friday trailing only Jose Fernandez (6.2) in wins above replacement, per Fangraphs .RIGHT THAT RANGERThe Rangers hope to get Yu Darvish on track in a game against Oakland before beginning what they hope is a deep postseason run. Darvish (5-5, 3.81) has a 7.47 ERA in his past three starts, including when he allowed seven runs over five innings last time out against the As. Darvish is stumbling at the end of a season that included his successful return from Tommy John surgery, though Texas is just 8-7 this season with their Japanese ace on the mound.SEARAGES LATEST STARIvan Nova starts vs. Washington looking like yet another success story for Pirates pitching coach Ray Searage. After going 7-6 with a 4.90 ERA with the Yankees this season, Nova is 5-1 with a 2.93 ERA in nine starts with the Pirates following a trade Aug. 1. Nova has just three walks in 55 1/3 innings with Pittsburgh, helping him produce a video game-like 15.00 strikeout-to-walk ratio.GIANT STRUGGLESMadison Bumgarner (14-9, 2.57) leads San Francisco against the pesky Padres, who had beaten the Giants six straight times before losing 2-1 on Thursday night. Bumgarner is coming off a dominant start against the Dodgers, when he threw seven scoreless innings of one-hit ball in a 2-1 loss. In his six starts previous to that one, Bumgarner had struggled to a 5.30 ERA. Vapormax Plus Fausse . Dallas hasnt ruled out the star quarterback for Sunday nights game against Philadelphia, but all signs point to Romos back injury pushing Kyle Orton into the starting role after two years of limited play as the backup. Surely Ortons name isnt the first that comes to mind for fans wanting a change after years of damaging interceptions, fumbles or, most infamously, the field goal flub when Romo dropped the snap on a kick that could have won his first playoff game in 2006. Air Max 97 Off White Outlet . PAUL, Minn. http://www.outletairmaxpascher.fr/fausse-air-max-97-off-white.html . Now that hes hitting streaking teammates with pin-point passes for easy layups, Love is asserting himself as one of the true superstars in the league. Air Max 97 Off White France . "Jeff is a hard worker who was an important special-teams contributor for us last season," said Stamps GM John Hufnagel. Fausse Air Max Pas Cher . Thats about all he can do right now, so hes trying not to think about when he might be able to play again for the Los Angeles Lakers. AUSTIN, Texas -- Lewis Hamilton took a commanding victory at the U.S. Grand Prix to give his slim championship chances a boost at a crucial point of the season. It was Hamiltons first victory since the German Grand Prix in July and moves him to within 26 points of teammate Nico Rosberg, who secured second despite losing a position to Daniel Ricciardos Red Bull at the start. At one stage it looked as though Hamilton might finish with two Red Bulls between him and Rosberg, but as Max Versatppens race unravelled with a slow pit stop and engine failure, Rosberg capitalised with a free pit stop under a Virtual Safety Car caution period.Rosberg can still win the title by claiming a minimum of two second places and a third place at the remaining three grands prix, but the result brings an end to his run of five races finishing ahead of Hamilton. All Hamilton can do at the remaining races is emulate his impressive form in Austin this weekend and hope Rosberg runs into trouble.Ricciardo held on to third place, but will be frustrated not to come away with more. The Red Bull driver passed Rosberg on the opening lap by getting up the inside of the Mercedes at Turn 1 and completing the pass on the outside of Turn 2. He appeared to have Rosberg covered when he made his second pit stop on lap 25, but Rosberg ran longer into the race on his second stint allowing him to take advantage of Verstappens failure on lap 33.Verstappen had been closing on Rosberg at the start of the second stint, but ultimately did not have the pace to pass. In his eagerness to switch to fresh tyres for his final stint, the 19-year-old pitted before his team had called him in and he arrived in an empty pit box with no one to greet him. The mistake shuffled him behind both Ferraris but it proved to be irrelevant when a grinding sound from his Renault engine brought him to a halt just four laps later. The stricken Red Bull brought out a Virtual Safety Car period, requiring drivers to slow their pace to a predefined lap time and hold track positioon.ddddddddddddBy pitting under the Virtual Safety Car, Rosberg was able to make his stop while Ricciardo was going slow on track and therefore lost less time than he would have in normal racing conditions. The Mercedes emerged from the pits 2.5s ahead of Ricciardo, an advantage he grew to 15.1s by the end of the race.Kimi Raikkonen would have been in an interesting battle for fourth with Ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel had it not been for a loose wheel nut at his final stop. The Finn was on an aggressive three-stop strategy of super-soft, soft, super-soft, super-soft, but at the final visit to the pits he was given the green light to go before the right rear had been properly attached. His race came to an end 500 metres later at the exit of the pit lane under orders from the Ferrari pit wall. The incident allowed Vettel to take a lonely fourth place at the end of the race, 23.4s off Ricciardo. With a routine second half of the race at the front of the field, Fernando Alonso provided the entertainment for COTAs large crowd. In the final 29 laps the McLaren driver fought his way from ninth place to fifth at the finish. The impressive drive came with two bolshie overtaking moves at the end of the race as he barged past Felipe Massa on lap 52, before running off the road as he lunged past Carlos Sainz for fifth place on the penultimate lap.The contact with Massa led to a puncture on the Williams and the Brazillian finished seventh behind the Toro Rosso of Sainz. Sergio Perez took eighth for Force India after recovering from a spin on the first lap when he was tagged by the second Toro Rosso of Daniil Kvyat. Jenson Button took ninth place for McLaren ahead of Romain Grosjean, who secured the last point on offer for American team Haas. The title battle continues in one week south of the boarder in Mexico, where Rosberg started a run of seven consecutive victories 12 months ago.
