The senior wasn’t projected to be a top-100 pick in the draft and was nearly taken within the first 50.That said, the Bengals, drafting to fill an offensive void instead of selecting pure talent, may have struck gold with the Sample.Not expected to be a huge part of the offense, Sample’s addition to the roster should bring both consistency and elite blocking, two things lacking from the numerous tight ends over the last few years.
