Each year, a Competition Committee meets during the NFL off-season to discuss proposals to change the rules of the game. The committee - made up of owners, head coaches, presidents and general managers - have 19 proposals to review before the 2016 campaign begins. Notably, they have already decided not to alter the current catch rule, believing it is clear to players and coaches. But what rules could change before next season? The most intriguing is No 4, a proposal to eject players who commit two fouls in one game. Read on for the details... NY Giants Odell Beckham Jr and Panthers Josh Norman had a dust-up this season which has likely resulted in this proposal. Fouls that would result in an ejection include throwing a punch or kicking an opponent, using abusive language with opponents, officials or teammates and taunting would all qualify as penalties that could contribute to ejection. Last season, only two players committed two of these fouls in one game - meaning neither Beckham Jr nor Norman would have been ejected under this proposal. Explaining the ejection rule proposal (No 4) 1.
