JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Another Jacksonville Jaguars player has criticized fans for not supporting the team.During a Tuesday appearance on a Jacksonville sports talk radio station, defensive tackle Malik Jackson said he felt there werent enough fans at EverBank Stadium for the teams game against Oakland on Oct. 23, and that the ones who were there werent very loud.What I do want the fans to know is that maybe we can all work together and get loud in the stadium on defensive downs, Jackson said on Midday Chalk on 1010XL (1010 AM). I kind of saw there was more Oakland fans last home game and that was very disappointing. It sounded like there were more people in the pools than cheering for the game.We need to, as fans, everybody, to pick their stuff up. We need to cheer louder, make teams uncomfortable, because thats a huge gain for us, and start winning these games.The Jaguars (2-5) were coming off back-to-back wins over Indianapolis and Chicago but lost to the Raiders 33-16. Jackson was one of two players ejected from the game. He received two unsportsmanlike penalties, including one for using abusive language toward an official, and was fined $24,309.Jacksons comments Tuesday came after he was asked about the teams preparation for Sundays game at Kansas City.Were going to go out there and work, Jackson said. To the fans, were going to keep grinding and keep chopping away. Believe it or not, we do go out there and work hard every day, despite the record. Just going to keep chopping wood and hopefully we can see some new things from the offense, and hopefully you can see a better defense. Jackson is the fourth player over the past six weeks to criticize Jaguars fans.
